Singled Out: A Single Adult Conference
On January 10, the PR1ME (singles) Ministry of Living Hope Community Church will be hosting its first-ever singles conference called "Singled Out: A Single Adult Conference" at ECCU (Evangelical Christian Credit Union). This event is open to singles (ages 22+) only. The singles ministries of over ten churches have already been invited--a large turnout is expected.Singles are often considered to be in that "in-between" stage of life. They no longer have that community of friends living around them in the dorms or college apartments, or the pressure of midterms and finals that comes with each new semester. Instead, career becomes a more pressing issue. Dating becomes less fun and more confusing. Despite this and other unique challenges that singleness brings, we believe that this is a vibrant stage of life that God uses to bring Himself glory.
The focus of this conference is to address single-specific issues that we don't talk about at church. During this conference, singles will have the opportunity to gather with other singles from the greater Los Angeles area and engage in biblical teaching and worship.
